HDL, FW, schematic, view and other open source material

General Topics about DSLogic Pro hardware
I see plenty of code and such in Github (https://github.com/DreamSourceLab) as well as on the wiki (http://dreamsourcelab.com/wiki).

However, except for the View software, the rest is out of date and most if not all of that hasn't been updated to reflect the DSLogic Pro. I'd like to buy the DSLogic Pro but only if I can modify (and of course restore!) the firmware - if this is open source then the HDL, firmware and schematic ought to be up-to-date in Github and on the Wiki.

When will the DSLogic Pro's current schematic, firmware, and HDL for the firmware be available?

I have the same question. Recently I sent it directly to Andy and got reply that he'll update information "some time soon".

I really like this project. It has a great idea and great potential. The hardware is nice (and open-source!). But support needs improvement. Most of the time developers are silent and appear here only periodically. Actually I would like to make some contributions to DSView project (e.g. port it the the upstream libsigrok) but I feel that all my contributions will be ignored.

Hi MartyMacGyver

Please follow our github page, all of the open source files will be upload on this site.
Now we focus on optimizing DSView software, after that, the wiki site will be also updated.

Hi anatolik,

we will appreciate any contributions from any person. thanks for your attention.

When do you think github will be updated? Since you already have the current firmware and HDL it should be easy and quick to upload these already-in-production artifacts.

I sent fixes for DSView software 1.5 months ago via github pull request. It got zero feedback. For me it is a sign that you are not interested in any contributions. I had some plans for DSView improvements but it probably makes no sense to spend time on it.

Hi anatolik,

Really thanks to your contributions.
We don't merge your pull request because it's inconsistent with our branching model:
http://www.dreamsourcelab.com/forum/vie ... ?f=18&t=93

So please submit your pull request to "develop" branch.

Thanks again.
